Good Morning and Welcome! to The Fool’s Tarot for 20/05/2017; Fields of the Blessed! The time is just flying by, isn’t it? The deck today is, of course, the *Tarot of the Holy Light;* you know by whom & whom; by now, I hope! I have returned because, aside from an occasional foray for some strange, I am in a “committed relationship” with this deck, for the time being. I am reading the 2nd volume of Ms. Payne-Towler’s book, previously mentioned, and following along with the deck for my “dailies” is very helpful. So, if you don’t like seeing this deck (I can’t imagine why you would dislike it!) then it is up to you to send me something fascinating connected with a different deck . . .  Grin! No, not really, but if you aren’t a fan of this deck, may I counsel you to buy the book and study it? You WILL become a fan, I assure you. The draw today is: Sulfur = II the Priestess; Mercury = XIX the Sun, and Salt = the Page of Wands (Spring.) Looks strangely familiar doesn’t it? It should! It is pretty much a repeat, in so many cards, of the theme that has been knocking on my veranda door for the last week, insisting on paying a gentlemanly call. Today, however, as if to either A) get the theme through my thick skull or B) to add a bit of piquancy to the game, we’re playing Role-Reversal Sunday, which is one of my favorite games, as long as the dresses are pretty. LOL. That is a moot point today, as I am in the nude, wearing astrological pasties and an enigmatic glance. I MUST say, I’m looking “sacredly” fertile, aren’t I? Grin. Well, I am. As the Animus, visiting II the Priestess is always a somewhat frustrating AND beguiling AND highly desired destination, perhaps because she is so challenging to the Aries personality that generally reigns in my heart. I love secrets, but for their value as showpieces to be unveiled, not necessarily kept hidden & untouched in the Holy of Holies deep in the subterranean darkness of some cold, dark Inner Sanctum. Mr. Animus has an agenda today, and while it might not be action oriented and full of daring-do, it is important to him and the results count greatly toward his happiness in
. . . XIX the Sun! Where my Anima, little minx that she is, has done her fair share of crossdressing today and is masquerading as the Sun. (I’m not sure what she thinks she’s going to do with a phallus, but she isn’t coming near me with that thing! Grin.) Actually, I grok why she is visiting XISXF the sun today: my Anima has been visiting a lot of “shadowed” or “dark” places lately (the Temple, the Moon, the solitary phase of IX the Hermit,) and in order to “balance out” and resume some equilibrium on her side of Life, she NEEDS a visit to XIX!! Grin. Not only that, in only a semi-manner, but if I’m going to be delving in the Temple today, She needs her full confidence and “shine” to drive the chariot today, n’est-ce pas? Oui, c’est ça. And finally, we get that charming but perhaps faithless jukebox hero, the Page of Swords as our dynamo today; I have commented before on this character, and will repeat: ““The Page of Wands has a passion for life, despite the fact (or maybe because of the fact) that he is still a child and his understanding of the world is not yet complete. He is a free spirit, not weighed down by the burdens of the material world, coming and going as he pleases, usually bringing change along for the ride.
He is the catalyst that provokes changes that might be impossible in any other situation. When his energy enters your life it may manifest in one of three ways: as a person around you, as an event that you will experience, or as a part of yourself that you must bring to the fore. Only rarely is an external event signaled by the Page of Wands. He does act as a herald for the same activities as the other pages; the arrival of good news and the birth of children, for example. And in those cases he is a very good sign, particularly in the latter case because of his association with creation and conception. But the event he usually symbolizes is a different type of conception, the conception of an idea. The Page of Wands represents the brief creative spark that comes to you, suddenly and unexpectedly, and that starts you down the road of a new creative vision. Your life will never be the same once he comes into it.” (©2007 James Rioux.) So there IS an oil tanker full of Energy there, but it IS rambunctious and hardly to be trusted, but more sagely guided and used it/he can be truly useful. It is a good day, it seems, more inclined to interior reflection and change than anything remarkably exterior, it seems. Not denoted as a particularly active day, I shall be sure to keep the “little grey cells” engaged throughout the day. I ask the Cosmos to give us ALL a day of consideration and thought today. Be Well, Be Zen, Be Blessed!!
