Good Morning and Welcome! to The Fool’s Tarot for 14/03/2018; the Tarot deck today is *Tarot of the Sephiroth* by D. Staroff, J. Mori & J. Stockwell. The oracular deck today is the *Egyptian Lenormand* by Nefer Khepri, Ph.D. Obviously I like both decks or I wouldn’t be using them, so I needn’t go to the trouble of “convincing” a pool of sharks that they like meat – LOL (obviously the sharks are you.) Onward & Upward! My draw for today is as follows: A) Guiding Arcanum = XXI the Universe; B) MaleFog = 3 of Cups: C) FemFog = 5 of Wands, and the oracular card for today is #37 Cat (10H.) Harrumph! I must say I feel “divided against” this morning; two cards that are pretty dynamic, the Cat & the Universe, facing two “troublemaking-in-waiting” cards, the 3 of Cups & the 5 of Wands. And what is it with this plethora of 5s lately?? I have never, in all my life, pulled 5s as consistently as have been popping up the last 7 to 10 days. Being in the middle of a suit, they are highly unstable cards, and can flip either way suddenly, throwing one wildly off-balance. I’m highly pleased with Cat & the Universe, and
frankly, today, I’m in a FUCK OFF mood; “If you can’t give me a bit more insight than that about what is going on, now, at this time of serious concern and possible complete life change, then you can put on your grandmother’s underwear, paint yourself purple, and FUCK OFF.” Lol – yes, I know, hardly a mature attitude, eh? But sometimes that IS me, a pissed-off youngster dealing with the opaque and seemingly unjust Cosmos; of course I’m ignoring the fact that THAT outlook is juvenile, self-centered and fruitless in the extreme. {{Sigh}}. It isn’t the 3 of Cups that I protest, but that damn 5 of Wands – I’m growing to dislike 5s in a serious way. LOL. I think the best solution today is to leave me out of it; the accompanying book to this Tarot deck is good, reliable, and reasonably in-depth (I’m not speaking of the LWB, but the separately available eponymous book.)  Let’s see what it has to say before I saw any girls in half or pull a skinned rabbit from my hat, shall we? Grin.
XXI the Universe – “The synthesis of the kings, queens, princes and princesses in manifestation; their unity, culminating in the kingdom of manifestation. This path reflects the fertility and abundance of the Empress (grain and lotus), the synthesis of the lady and the lion (of the Strength card) forming the Sphinx, and the transformative power of the Tower card. The egg shape in the card reflecting the Fool, in respect to the
ending/culmination of manifestation being merely another beginning of the cycle of birth, death and renewal.” (“Guide to Tarot of the Sephiroth” by J. Mori, J. Stockwell & D. Staroff; U.S. Games, Stamford, 2001.)      3 of Cups – “I enter into a huge waterfall. I am at the foot of the falls, and cannot see the top. I walk through the waters to a dark cave behind the falls, which opens to a long series of slippery tunnels. A few figures appear to speed me on my way and to guide me. Finally falling down the last tunnel into deep water, I emerge in a droplet of water, which splashes down into a river. I swim to the bank and am met be Sebek (see The Fool), the crocodile god. I hold his tail, and he pulls me out of the river until I walk in the grass, where I meet the Queen of Cups, who sends me on to the Empress. Two cups appear, representing the milk/nourishment from her breasts, their liquid flows into the third, feeding the progeny of the womb.” (Ibid) [Somebody forgot to take milk with her peyote! Grin.] I can grok the card, but that description sound like a diary entry by a barely literate tripper who needs a bath. Grin.
5 of Wands – “I enter onto a barren landscape. Immediately in front of me a single gigantic flaming wand falls to the ground. The flames are of sickly colors: yellows, greens and reds. I walk to it and find a door in the wand. I open it and pass through the flames and come to two wands, one on the left and the second one on the right; neither is flaming. I pass them and come to a wall of flames. I can see over the wall of flames to a beautiful landscape and the image from the 4 of Wands, but I cannot get to it over the flames. I turn to leave, and exit the huge flaming wand. Looking back, I see the flames have spread left and right out to the horizon.”  (Ibid) This one, I must admit, escapes me a bit, because hir logic is so fuckin’ shaky. S/he sees 3 as the problem from the viewpoint of 5, and 5 is already “sick”? I’m overplaying my “Simplify it for me, Lady” attitude, I “get” what the person is trying to say, but damn! Atlanta’s burnin’ an’ I can smell the BBQ! s/he chose a TRULY clunky and unpleasing vocabulary or set of images for that little “vision.”                                                                  Finally and first, I have the oracular card #37 Cat
 – which in this unique case (a manipulation of the deal) means emphasis on #11 Crook & Flail, symbolizing “impassioned arguments, Discussions, Harsh Words, Abuse, Anger, Judgement.” Well . . .  goody goody, I guess, although Bastet knows I dislike this kind of “drama;” the “impassioned scene, the dramatic argument,” blahblahyakyak, who gives a flying fuck for all the drama? Just state things calmly & clearly. Exercise decision where you can, and shut your trap when others are yammering so as to keep your own counsel. Discern, Decide, Do. I ask the Cosmos to grant us ALL the “astral balls” to do JUST THAT today; Discern, Decide, and then Do. Be Well! Be Zen. Be Blessed!!
