Good Morning and Welcome! to The Fool’s Tarot for 20/03/2018; the deck today is one that I respect a great deal, *The Tarot of Saqqara* by Donald G. Beaman. The oracle deck for today is *The Anubis Oracle* by K. Waldherr, N. Scully & L. Star—Wolf. The draw for today is as follows: A) Guiding Arcanum = XVII the Stars; B) Male ambiance = 6 of Wands; C) Female ambiance = Princess of Wands, and D) Oracular card = #12 Anubis/Surrender.  Harrumph – once again I have XVII the Stars as my guiding Arcanum for today, and I hope that means its face value is correct, but one doesn’t know. I can hope until the day’s end, and still end up shat upon. It reminds me of an old saying of my father’s, “Shit in one hand and wish in the other, and see which fills up first.” Stinky, but graphically explained, eh? (Grin, that’s my Dad, who is still kicking ass and taking names at 86 years of age.)
“XVII –The Stars, Isis as Sirius, Priestess of the Silver Star. Nature at work. Actualizing imagination. Possibility becoming. This is a symbol of Hope through Faith, or Faith in Hope, which is really Faith in Faith – a self-validating truth. ¶ The subtitle is “The Priestess of the Silver Star” which refers to Venus as a planet, and to Isis as Sirius. The card/rune is concerned with existing in Grace while meeting the challenges of Fate with Faith. Grace is a rather old-fashioned concept still worth adopting. [As I have-mm.] Upright she is Cause, reversed she is Effect.” (LWB)  In terms of the ‘Beige Bivalve’ today (that’s me – m/f chambers of the same mollusk – grin,) I’m not particularly impressed by the concentration on wands, which is a far less physical than mentally active suit, which in the larger picture is still a picture of “Hurry up and Wait; there is still nothing you can do until you talk with the doctoress on Friday.” I like the doctor; I met her long ago, back in 2012/2013, when I was having the recurrent internal hemorrhaging problem. She is tall, elegant, young and beautiful,
AS WELL AS really nice and personable – a great combo, until Time and Humans will wear her down to an embittered crone of doom & woe . . . Grin. I hope not. The 6 of Wands – “Lord of Victory, 2nd decan of Leo. Hopeful choices. The effect of external forces on choices. Hopes and fears determining choices. Leadership that moves to the general expectation. The Crown of Hope.” (LWB) We finish with the Princess of Wands – “Time and Becoming. Princess of the Shining Flame. Ruled by the sign of Aries, her motto would be, “I inspire.” (LWB) She is also extremely feckless, so beware. As for “The Angels’ Word” to me this me, as I call my oracular card, it is #12 Anubis – who resembles not only XII the Hanged Man from the Sacred Tarot but also a rather large upright dildoform leaking wisdom from his peak. Nothing too sexual there, no siree. LOL. “Anubis – Surrender – Shaman/Enlightened Heart. Anubis is known as a god of the Underworld, which is actually the Innerworld. He is the Enlightened Heart Shaman, the Opener of the Way,
who went before us to pave the way so that we might follow in his footsteps in our own search for enlightenment. Anubis knows how to surrender his heart and the entirety of his being to ever-expanding cycle of death and rebirth in order to step more fully into his divine humanity here on Earth. ¶ He is our ever-faithful companion and guide, a stalwart protector who assists us in our ego deaths and in the renewal of our soul’s true purpose. He walks between worlds and knows how to sniff out the passageway between form and formlessness. He guards equally by day and by night. Anubis cares deeply about us and will guide us if we call upon him during our own shamanic journeys between the worlds. We can also call on him when someone . . . dies, as he leads people safely through the transition we call death . . . .” (“The Anubis Oracle” by N. Scully, L. Star-Wolf & K. Waldherr; Bear & Co., Rochester, 2008.) So there we have it, the “Sit on your thumb, stare up at the sky, and wait, my quacky duck, wait.” {{Sigh.}} Okay, for today. I’m not at the top of my game anyway (Match-Off Professional Napping, 61 min. to 120 min. category. LOL.) I ask the Cosmos to grant us ALL the peace but not the fatigue of effort accomplished today. Be Well! Be Zen. Be Blessed!!
