Good Morning and Welcome! to The Fool’s Tarot for 10/03/2018; the decks today are: the *Rosetta Tarot* by M. M. Meleen, a truly wonderful and “psychic” deck that picks up and transmits your “inner picture” exceedingly well, and the *Egyptian Lenormand* by Nefer Khepri Ph.D., which yesterday proved itself to be quite accurate, just not in the way foreseen – Ha! isn’t that ALWAYS the case? (“No, Crispin, once again you have it wrong. Your hands, NOW, Crispin!” Grin.) I don’t have the “Levitating Tarot Card” happen at my readings; I believe it must be that I subconsciously discourage Chance playing too great a role. Nevertheless, today I had one of a sort; as I pulled and deposed the two cards for my “human bivalve” (me) today, a third card suddenly dropped at my feet. The question was, was that card ACTUALLY one of those two choices, or was it simply superfluous? I put it down with B) the MaleFog, so as to be between the two. Perhaps it will influence them; perhaps they will obliterate it, eh? On verra. Here is the draw for today: A) Arcanum Guide = XII the Hanged Man; B) the MaleFog = 5 of Disks; C) SurpriseFog – Ace of Disks; D) FemFog = 10 of Disks, and my oracular card for the day is #19 Obelisk. (When I pull the oracular card, I usually address the powers that are called my HGA and Hru of the Cards, letting them know that this card will be considered as “their 2¢, their Voice” contributed to the reading today. “So, if you’ve got somethin’ to say to me, speak up! I ain’t deef!” Grin. Before I go anywhere with this reading today,
I must tell you that reading it correctly is something that I cannot, at the present time, confirm either for myself or you. Everything depends, in this case, on the outcome of a medical issue that is my 800 lb. gorilla in the room, and until I can confirm it to & for myself, then I feel I literally cannot, in good conscience, share what is at this point sheer speculation (based on some pretty solid proof, however) as to whether my life will take that turn or not. There, today, at least, I feel I need to speak in the abstract about these cards, and since that is something I don’t like to do (there are 80K sites & blogs online that will happily give you whichever version of Tarot reality they follow, wrapped in new paper perhaps, but it’s still a hand-me-down Christmas present from some kid in the orphanage where mommy dumped him when she found out he was different. Grin,) I’m not going to do that. I’ve sifted most of those sites, so I’ll drop something on your plate that has the taste of real meat. Grin. I will give you, though, this stream-reading of what this draw BASICALLY means to me: “Step back and offer your ego in sacrifice to the current situation. Become the observer instead of the subject, AS MUCH AS IS POSSIBLE, and let the cleansing flow of light and elements refresh your spirit, fill your heart, and release your ego. Your Intellect is greatly troubled, and your emotions are feeling as overripe as the situation which needs to evolve. However, these are “lower, human” problems, and you MUST try to rise into the Light above them and see that they are, in a way, meaningless, because the overarching Ace has covered them both under the truth of her New Manifestation into Reality and the entire beginning of the process of Manifestation in Malkuth in order to “climb the Tree to go back home. There is MUCH to be done, and in order to accomplish it, the oracular card,
#19 Obelisk, is FIRM advice to “go with the flow of the status quo, Joe,” in that it literally means “following the rules, going along with the status quo and conforming to the way the group handles a situation, or conforming to their type of behavior.” (“The Egyptian Lenormand” by Nefer Khepri, Ph.D.; Schiffer, Atglen, 2014.) I quite literally apply this to my current interaction with the medical community; if-or-until the time comes for ME to make decisions, then I shall shut my piehole and play by their rules. Now isn’t the time to be a rebel; it isn’t amusing at the moment. Grin. So, with all of that being said, I ask the Cosmos today to grant us ALL a safe sailing home from dangerous waters. Be Well! Be Zen. Be Blessed!!                                                                                                  XII the Hanged Man - Uranus as neutralization and inversion, Neptune as spirit of sacrifice, the 12th house as a symbol for metamorphosis through isolation and knowledge. Tree of Life: From Geburah to Hod. Element: Water. Number: 12 - the perfect number, symbol of the zodiac, 3 x 4. ¶ The Hanged Man is a symbol for the turning points in life, showing up a need to stop and assess a situation. We're hanging in the air until we find a new view of the things around us, a proper way to rearrange or restart. But the Hanged Man is a 'silent' card - there's no pressing need for change. No big change is waltzing towards us - we can peacefully keep on hanging and complaining. The Hanged Man just shows that we're just 'hanging', he requires a new viewpoint, and sometimes a lot of patience. In its positive
aspect, the card shows the need for a time of consideration, the forced relaxation gives the opportunity to relax and reflect, to sort thoughts and ideas and find a new way to cope with a situation. Drive: Devotion, acceptance of fate, maturity. Light: Overcoming the ego, changing life, a new sight of the world. Shadow: standstill, rejection, loss of perspective. (www.corax.com)                            Ace of Disks – “Ace of Disks represents the entity of the element Earth, the beginning of Assiah, the material world of making. It stands for the pureness of the element, and also for its seed, the first little sprout that later becomes a tree. So the Ace of Disks can stand for the beginning of a material subject, this can be a physical project or a material value, which could mean the urge to material creation or the chance for material gain. But, the Disks not only represent plain materials, but the entire world of Assiah, the actual, physical earth of daily life, and the actual, physical body of the human being. This implies home and profession, daily works, familiar bondings, health and well-being in common. And in this context, the Ace of Disks tells us that something will be created, something will begin.” (Ibid)
